About the Pre-Assessment
Overview
If your dog is under three years old we recommend a pre-assessment appointment before registering for a class, however, it is not required. We want you to be successful in our program and the pre-assessment appointment will give us a chance to make sure you and your dog are ready to continue toward certification.

Please Note
Pre-assessment appointments are recommended for dogs between one and three years old. If your dog is under one year of age, please see our Puppies page. If your dog is over three years of age, but you have questions about their readiness you are also welcome to have a pre-assessment appointment.
Our Philosophy
We believe in supporting dogs and handlers every step of the way. We don’t want you to invest in our process only to find out when you test that your dog isn’t ready to visit.
